INTERMEDIATE SPACE CHALLENGE
The Intermediate Space Challenge sets out to instill and energize youths interest in the science and engineering career fields. Targeted towards 4th, 5th and 6th graders, this years event is held at the Mojave Air and Space Port on May 4th, 2007 from 10am to 12pm.
What You Will Be Judged On
Banner Design
Rocket Performance
An Essay
Rocket Construction, Quality and Design
What You Will Need
Cooperation from the Superintendent and Principals is critical.
Participation from all your 4th, 5th, and 6th grades (7th and 9th grade optional).
A day at your local airport or park.
At least 2 adults to "Launch" the rockets and someone to retrieve them.
An emcee (endurance required).
Teamwork is crucial - Safety First!
Guest speakers with "Passion".

And Most Importantly, "Why?"
