Chuck Coleman has over thirty-five years of experience as an aerospace engineer, ATP pilot, flight instructor, flight test pilot, airshow performer, A&P mechanic with IA authorization and business owner. His career has included serving as a senior design engineer for McDonnell Douglas on a range of military aircraft such as the F15, F18, AV8B, YF23, C17, A12. Chuck has been a design engineer and test pilot for Scaled Composites, BD Jet Corporation, ICON Aircraft, flight testing aircraft as the Proteus jet, BD10 jet, BD12, ICON A5 light sport amphibian seaplane and as a chase/instructor pilot for the Global Flyer, WhiteKnightOne, SpaceShipOne. Chuck has over 10,400 flight hours in over 146 types of aircraft, with commercial ratings in airplanes, helicopters, gliders, and seaplanes. He has built and restored more than 10 airplanes. Chuck has been based at the Mojave Air and Space Port for more than 20 years and has been part of many historic aviation and space ventures.
