Thank you for your interest in Mojave Air & Space Port!
Our administration offices are open Monday -Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Mojave Air & Space Port does not offer tours to the public.
We do, however, invite you to visit us during the monthly "Plane Crazy Saturdays" to see the airport and get a taste of what Mojave is all about! You may want to visit the Voyager Restaurant at the west end of our building, or any one of many restaurants in the town of Mojave. Visitors are also welcome to buy items from the gift shop in our administration office, stop by Legacy Park, and see the various aircraft on display throughout the airport.
Visitors and press should enter the airport property from the south on Airport Blvd at the highway 58 entrance. For any major activities or events visitors and press will be directed to specific areas for parking and viewing.
The Rotary Rocket Roton is on display at Legacy Park along with the SpaceShip One and Voyager replicas. Roton was an uncompleted project by a company who ultimately went bankrupt. It is on display as a daily reminder to pursue your dreams without fear of failure.
CV-990: At the airport entrance is one of only a handful of surviving Convair 990 Coronados. This aircraft last flew with a NASA program that tested the Space Shuttle's wheel and brake system.
F-4D: Also at the airport entrance is a McDonnell Douglas F-4D Phantom. This aircraft, serial 64-0741 (N403FS), was formerly used as a flight test aircraft in the early stages of BAE/Flight Systems' QF-4 modification program.
TF-35XD: The Saab Draken can be found at the airport entrance. It is on loan for display by the National Test Pilot School, one of Mojave Air & Space Port's tenants.
Voyager Airport Restaurant
Located in the airport terminal building, under the old tower adjacent to transient parking.
The menu is aeronautically-inspired. Why not try the “Long EZ,” two eggs served up any style, named after an aircraft designed by Burt Rutan. Or there’s the “The Blackbird” (sausage patties and eggs labeled after the super-fast U.S. Air Force reconnaissance plane) or the “SpaceShipOne”, a plate of ham and eggs.
