Astrobotic is at the forefront of advancing space exploration and technology development. Its expertise spans from lunar rovers, landers, navigation, and infrastructure to terrestrial rockets and machine vision. To date, the company has been contracted for two lunar missions, and has won more than 60 NASA, DoD, and commercial technology contracts worth more than $600 million.
The Astrobotic team launched the first US commercial lunar lander to operate in space. Beyond helping lead America back to the Moon, the company develops and operates reusable vertical takeoff, vertical landing (VTVL) rockets and advanced rocket engines. Astrobotic operates its Xodiac VTVL rocket at the Mojave Air and Space Port for the U.S. Government, commercial customers, and universities and is a contracted flight provider under NASA's Flight Opportunities program.

Flight Research International, a subsidiary of the National Test Pilot School, is the leading providers of training, testing and support in the aerospace and aviation industry. These services all help to advance the safety and capabilities of the industry. Located in the historic Mojave California, the FRI campus has 1 million square feet of hangars, mission control rooms and maintenance facilities and a fleet of over 40 aircraft dedicated to the safety of pilots.

Since its establishment in 1982 by Herb Iverson, Burt Rutan, and Pat Storch Scaled Composites has been a cornerstone of aerospace innovation at Mojave Air & Space Port. Known for its unconventional designs and pioneering use of composite materials, Scaled Composites has been at the forefront of developing experimental aircraft and prototype fabrication processes.
Located in Mojave, Scaled Composites has achieved numerous milestones, including winning the Ansari X Prize with its experimental spacecraft SpaceShipOne. Their groundbreaking projects, such as the Stratolaunch, the world's largest composite aircraft, continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in aerospace technology.

Stratolaunch designs, manufactures, and launches aerospace vehicles and technologies to fulfill several important national needs. Stratolaunch has two air vehicles to launch their customers payloads from, Roc and Spriti of Mojave. The air launch concept has a long legacy as an efficient approach to launching payloads to space and within the Earth’s atmosphere at reduced cost with more flexibility and speed than current vertical launch options. Roc and the Spirit of Mojave stand on the shoulders of giants like the B-29, B-50, and B-52 that served in critical carrier roles for research programs such as the Bell X-1 and X-15.

Founded in 2021 by Jed McCaleb, Vast is developing humanity’s next-generation space stations and pioneering the path to long-term living and thriving in space. Haven-1, scheduled to be the world’s first commercial space station, is currently in development and is expected to launch NET May 2026. Vast is also developing Haven-2, the proposed successor to the International Space Station (ISS), designed to serve NASA’s Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) program as a micro-gravity laboratory in space. Vast’s long-term ambition is to create artificial gravity habitations that enable humans to live in space, reaffirming its commitment to ensuring a spacefaring future for all.
